Local storage and cloud backup

Brain Freeze is designed with a local-first approach. Your freezer inventory may be stored directly on your device so that core inventory features can work without requiring a constant internet connection.

If you choose to use supported cloud backup or synchronization features, selected account and inventory information may also be transmitted to and stored using our cloud service providers. Cloud features are intended to help protect, restore, or synchronize supported Brain Freeze data.

How information is used

Information may be used to provide and improve Brain Freeze, maintain your inventory, enable search and reminders, provide supported backup and synchronization features, respond to support requests, and protect the security and reliability of the service.

Service providers and data sharing

Brain Freeze does not sell your personal information. We may use service providers to help operate features such as account authentication, cloud storage, hosting, and other infrastructure. Some information stored locally on your device may also be removed by using available app controls or removing the app and its local data from your device.

Brain Freeze is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Brain Freeze, please contact us so that we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
